I saw another cossie on ebay earlier for a fraction of that, but looking at it again there's a reserve that hasn't been met so who knows how much he's after.

Didn't pass the reserve at 4.5k.. I reckon now that the other one's up it'll push the value of this dudes car down too.. poor bugger.
I reckon for 5-10k it might be ok. But it looks like it's been slightly pimped with those rims.. they're nice, but if it's a proper cossie then i'd get some race style rims to accent that.

Hi Ossie and SELfor50, in my honest opinion, I reckon these Cosworth headed Benzes are not really 'the goods'.

The association and collaboration of the two companies was relatively shrt lived and there was really no successor to the Evo 1 and Evo 2 models. Let's face it, there were the facilities of AMG on hand, so why would you want to pussy foot around with the poms.

I believe they're extremely difficult to maintain, and there were some reliability issues as well. My preference would be an E500. Regards Styria

styria, the Cosworth engined cars have many of the issues of other 90's benzes, plus the engines are highly stressed and not particularly durable. Repairs are expensive. Having driven one though, I would describe it as a most enlightening experience. Very low front end mass (well compared to v8 benzes) plus agressive suspension geometry left me feeling it was the most perfectly balanced and conceived car I'd ever driven. Less grunt than a modern quadcam v8 or a 6.9 obviously, but very involving and entertaining. I'd have one thanks.
