Nearly had another car written off today

Stopped off at a small job this afternoon, as I walked out the door my heart stopped, a guy was walking towards the door and a car a few meters behind him was rolling away with no one in it!!



The look on my face made him turn around and run back to the car which was rolling towards my mighty Volvo, luckily he managed to get in and stop it about 2 feet from rear ending my car.

Stuff like that is pretty bad, as you can imagine people walking around, kids, would be far worse to see someone getting knocked over than a car run into.


The world is really going crazy,

Unbelievable, imagine if there was a child or an elderley person, they wouldnt have stood a chance. Did he not leave the car in gear/use handbrake?

Car was running but when I saw it was in reverse, (lights on the back)


yeah, road users down here have really changed over the last 12 months, I don't mean to be rude to our mainland friends but we seem to have caught up with what it is like over there.
