The ML has just had a wash and given that it will be 20 years old in January I figure it scrubs up OK - actually it is better than the pictures here from the phone show. And yes, that is wear on the leather of the steering wheel; something I will attend to this week.
Not scratches on the rear doors - that is just a reflection.

I doubt there would be many ML’s in this excellent condition given most were bought as kid haulers and led a hard life!

Very kind of you but as you know it is not difficult to look after a motor car. It's a matter of regular servicing, repairing when required and regular cleaning. It has proven to be very reliable and going so well and looking clean and neat will see out its life here until it draws its last gasp.
I know you are fond of MLs. Very good friends had an ML500 which they hated all its life and finally sold it and bought a new Bentaga. They leaned to hate it after 2 punctures in the first week of ownership. So much for runflats. Being stranded on the Harbour Bridge is not my idea of fun.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen a nicer 20 year old ML.
You certainly know how to present a top notch motor car mate.
