Value of an original car on the up. Recent big 6.9 sale in France too.

This is quite a remarkable result, especially for an English sourced sale. Generally the British Isles cars do not attract nearly the same values as the ones sold on the continent, particularly in Germany.

This car has outstanding interior features, no doubt greatly helped by quality lighting employed to highlight the attractive anthracite upholstery, and it also appears to have the 15" Alloys. Regards. Styria

After the 7:30 article about older car values and after reviewing cars for sale I have increased the insurance values of my 6.9 to $69K and Porsche 964 (with just over 75,000 km since new) to $140K. These were insured for $27K and $67K prior to upping the insurance. During the discussion with Shannons I suggested decreasing the value of these cars each time the insurance is renewed is now obsolete. They have now marked the policies not automatically reduce the value each year. They will not automatically review/increase the agreed value but suggested I talk to them when the renewal is due each year. I may just be adding Shannons profit but since I live in a bushfire area it is worth additional insurance to put my mind at ease.
