If it was with the Lambda then that is the one I mean.
The VSSC car for display, discussion and looking at next Tuesday's meeting is the Bugatti that was at Eastern Creek.
Regards,
Benz-Boy

You mean this one, let us know the full story, is it an original or a rebuild?

As far as I remember L'Ebe Bugatti was a horsey type who had a favourite Fiacre carriage and ordered a Bugatti to be built - a Type 40 I think - with similar bodywork, hence the model became known as the 'Fiacre' but how many were built? Where is the original? At Mulhouse maybe?
Your mission tomorrow night, should you choose to accept it, is to find all the answers to these questions.
Thank you,
and goodnoght,
C.M.

CM: The Star Sapphire was completely beyond my financial and skills capabilities. It was offered to me for $600 when I was 21 (I had that same year paid $600 for my series IV Morris Oxford station wagon - about 12 weeks' wages for me back then). Although it was drivable, it needed extensive repairs to the body: new wooden frame bottoms in all doors for a start. It had a Wilson preselector box, but came with a spare engine and manual box, too.

I onsold it after six months of looking wistfully, but hopelessly, at it. The buyer spent a lot of money on it, but I never saw it finished.

A common enough story and we have to wonder how many met that fate.
I probably would not do any better but if a mint example came up at the right price........

BenzBoy is still online!
I thought you were off to check out the Bugatti tonight?
Don't tell me you turned down such an invite?
