These motors are renowned for being virtually unbreakable and could run without oil for long periods and this one is no different it is in great shape.Cheers.

No worries Michel, I hadn't looked at it for a while and thought I missed the ending.

But Des, LOL, I didn't read the full response till just now "could run without oil for long periods" I think a ceramic engine shown on Towards 2000 many years ago was the only engine I've seen that could run without oil. I bet this 6.9 uses barely any fuel too.

I've seen this happen before, on Dr Who in 1971, during Jon Pertwee's time... in the story "Claws of Axos" the only way to defeat the baddie in question was for the doctor to rig up some sort of time-loop apparatus, thereby imprisoning the baddies to keep going over the same few minutes over and over for the rest of eternity.

This 6.9 is stuck in a similar time-lord induced time-loop which repeats itself every 3 weeks.

It ended up at $5,600 and not to the usual buyer...
