1990 560SEL 215,000kms $18K.

Reading from the Carsales ad the car has had $35K spent on a restoration wow!

I do not the car and I do not know the seller of the car.

560SEL is a superb looking car what do you guys think?

I usually approach car sales claims from a cynical point of view, exclusively.

$35000 can go a long way, it can go short too. At least the asking price is not to recover the claimed expenses (IMO, 10/10 cases of restoration-cost-recovery-price-tag it is the biggest load of bull-dust)

What I noticed is a NOT an over-polished car with black-enhancing spray everywhere. That is if pics are recent. Usually, that is a good sign. But other signs of sincerity must be present everywhere.

If I was in market for a 4 door 126... I'd be looking where Benowa is...

It does look like a decent car. Its about the same price as the one MbSpares had for sale earlier this year and it was a very nice 560 with Becker CD player. But all in it looks to be worth a look if you were in the market for one.
