S500 For Sale

I've made the decision to list my 2001 W220 S500 for sale, 218k's, I'm the second owner and have had it since 88k's. Never had any major issues. I've always had it serviced by my local mechanic in Seven Hills and have a Autel Scanner for diagnostics. For the right price it comes with the car. It's the professional one that scans all makes and has live diagnosis and key coding.
I've replaced both rear airmatic struts with Bilstein originals, and the air compressor and valve with aftermarket units. Front struts are as I bought it and I have an unused aftermarket spare to go with the car.
Besides routine maintenance it's had AC condenser replaced due to a Putty Road rock and the vacuum line from inlet manifold to brake booster.
It has 4 new goodyear tires about a month old. Rego till April next year and everything works.
There is a small ding in the boot lid that need attention and a couple of carpark door dings that should be resolved with PDR.
Interior is Orient Grey. Duco is Green Black. There is a post by me somewhere on here from when I first bought it.
I'll post some pics after giving it a bath.
I'm going to list it on carsales for $9250 but happy to take offers from the good folk here, and really do think I'm shooting for the stars with the $9k ask
Make an offer if you're half keen, I can only say no, and will not be offended. I'd love to see someone here give it some special attention and either pass it on with a bit of a top up of the cunning kit or keep it and enjoy it.

No, that's been sold.
I haven't made my mind up on a replacement, but have a few ideas. It'll possibly be new, definitely not a Benz and almost definitely not european.
It'll have an internal combustion engine and the battery will start it and make the radio play.
We just picked up a new Toyota C-HR Koba for Karen to replace the Hilux, the quality is very impressive and as it's a wagon, and both children are so close to driving, that a four door is not a requirement for me.
The dropping of the instant asset write off changes the balance financially for me running a car privately or through the company.

Sure has, I originally listed the E500 at $25500, no bites other than the "I'm in the Army or on an oil rig" scammers, dropped it to 22,500, still nothing, then 18990 and it sold next day for $18,500. I was pretty happy as I paid $26.500 5 years prior and Dad put 100,000k's on it.
