I wonder how many hard drives you've filled up with car pics?

So it looks like a lot of them are Crayfords, perhaps, and some of them are probably...personal jobs.

the blue 350SE is a genuine crayford, the others are from other firms.

It's amazing what one can fit on a disk these days.

I have an external LaCie 1TB drive that duplicates everything on my Mac - bootable partitions, work files, and all.

As well as duplicating the contents of my two internal 500 GB drives, it has all my photo libraries on it; these contain in excess of 40,000 pics - 11,000+ of them being of cars (and all but a couple of hundred of those being Benzes).

The 1TB disk is only two-thirds full. (The sad part of the story is that the LaCie's RAID chip shat itself the other day and I'm awaiting its replacement - so no photo libraries for now. Bugger! Must get another TB disk to back up the backup )
