W116 6.9 HPF spheres: keep front and rear references separate

[TomBolger91]

For a reusable W116 6.9 HPF parts list, keep the two sphere references separate. Febi 03279 is listed as the front 75 bar reference and currently shows no stock; 03278 is listed as the rear 57 bar reference and currently shows stock. That distinction is more useful than ordering five from one undifferentiated listing.

Confirm the Mercedes OE number and actual installation against the car's VIN before ordering, especially if parts have previously been changed. The existing thread reports a completed purchase and delivery, so it is not evidence of today's Australian shipping terms. A reference table with position, OE number and pressure would help future owners identify the right component without repeating an old freight or price claim.

Tom, I would imagine that the majority of owners would be aware of the different specifications between the front and rear Air Cells. Whatsmore, the majority of suppliers would also be aware that there is a difference between the front and rear cells.
David, thank you also for the PDF information that you have provided us with. BTW, and as an aside, you obviously have sold your splendid car to the Euro Dealer at Rydalmere. As a matter of interest, did you have any particular interest in selling your car - you obviously chose to deal with Rydalmere in the end - I presume. Obviously, you mustn't have been able to attract alternative interest in your car. I wonder if they have now onsold the car.

From another 6.9 owner, he has always conveyed the impression or feeling that Euro Rydalmere have never been confident in handling the sale of a 6.9. Maybe you have further thoughts on this matter. Regards Styria
