Cold day in the Bay yesterday but a good chance to take some photos of the 300SE whilst the sun was shining.

300SE puts a smile on my face that is for sure!

Impala Brown is the colour of the 300SE is the colour a combination of champagne and gold and it is a metallic colour is that correct?

Hi Timmy, what's that pole sticking out from the roof of your car - I've never seen anything like it. Did you put it there ?...and yes, your number plate, as detected by hawk eye Helmet, certainly needs re-positioning. Other than the plate and the pole, the car is looking great. Regards Styria

However...

I would get rid of the yellow number plate, invest in a set of Euro plates that will fill the number plate holder totally and would contrast to the colour of the car better than the yellow.

Otherwise, it looks sensational...

That is a telegraph pole in the photo Styria and NO it's not sticking out of the roof.

Number plate needs re-positioning what's wrong with the plate?

Cost of Rego & insurance, Stamp Duty was a shock but had to be done cost of black & white number plates budget could not allow at the time.

Yellow & black plates $39 at the RTA.

Black & white plates $100 at the RTA.

Question is if I want to change from yellow & black plates to black & white plates legally can I do so?

I did see a current shape CLS 55 AMG parked at the shopping centre it was a black colour the CLS 55 had black & yellow plates fitted to the car.

Sorry to say the CLS 55 AMG was a bit harsh on the eyes overall look of the car was very poor in my opinion.

Tim - what people mean is that in this photo it looks like the front number plate is not in the middle. It looks like it is more to the passenger side. Perhaps this is just the angle of the photo. Do you have a straight on picture of the front?

Tim, it would matter to me - and probably to most people here. We like things to line up neatly.

Looked at the photos closely I can see now the front number plate is not centred I will fix it.

Goodness me a number plate that is not neatly lined up now we can't have that!

As for the Impala Brown exterior colour is it a mixture of champagne and gold colours?
