I saw it all.
That was the day Styria thought he would try some ATF in the petrol and when he opened the throttle great clouds of smoke blasted into the atmosphere.

WOW now I am impressed!!!! GBs a Euro right Styria?? I'd heard there wasn't much difference in feel between Euro and Aussie 6.9s, but I haven't been able to compare them YET....

Looking at the full SLS on a W126 it seems like a big advancement from the 6.9s and I wonder if they'd sit flatter through the curves....

Mark, GB is an import from Kenya and is thus fitted with the high compression engine. In my opinion, the high compression 6.9 engine definitely emits somewhat different driving and intake characteristics. In fact, OZ engined 6.9s seem to exhibit far more intake noise under hard acceleration, and the "dirty" engine exhibits more of a cranky snarl. As a rule, also, they are a little more kind on fuel consumption. Regards Styria
