Early Xmas present for my wife . Its actually a fun car to drive especially in sports + mode. Still running it in so haven't really pushed it yet. The styling both interior and exterior is great . LED lights are sensational.

Assume its a bit like a C-Class to drive? I've driven the current C, its quite an impressive machine.

Not really , it's built on an E class platform, feels a bit heavier than the Class

I am sooooo against the BMW trailblazer X6, but somehow MB managed to produce a vehicle easy on the eye.
I will get a couple to test early in Feb.

Some wives have all the luck ! As C107 has pointed out, this styling is all the rage now, or is it ? Perhaps just a fashion trend ? Like Michel, I have always disliked the X6, and the Range Rover Evoque is no better - they are merely an add-on or styling alternative to the mainstream models. When I first saw the Mercedes at this year's concours, I sort of felt that MB were being copy cats, but in reality, they are much better, and more impressive looking than the Bimmer. So I give it my thumbs up. It's new, it's shiny, and no doubt it will have some wonderful, and appealing features that manufacturers build into their cars nowadays. As a matter of interest, Helmet, which version did you get ? I am referring to engine specs etc. etc. Regards. Styria

I opted for the GLC250 petrol version as my wife only does short running now as my daughter got her licence a couple of months ago and we no longer have to ferry the kids around. I am taking over her ML250 diesel that we will use for longer runs and road trips (any tow our small boat). Not sure you would have seen one at the concourse as they have only been in Oz about a month, maybe it was a GLE coupe which is a fair bit larger.
