Running my SL permanently with the top down presents a problem when left in the open over night. I had heard that a half cover was being made in Victoria , easy to slip over the passenger compartment instead of struggling with the convertible top each time.
Hopefully some one knows where to get one ?

P.S. I have found a supplier in the States who has Seat Belt Guides for the 107 SLs. $52 a set with shipping. Though I'm waiting for a conformation of the Free Shipping bit.

Ecklers is one of the largest reproduction parts and after market suppliers in the US, if not in the whole world.
However, they ship only with either FedEx or UPS and for a small part they might charge you way above the cost of that part.

If Sean is interested, I'd also be wanting one of them and can probably rustle up a few more buyers, making the whole thing much more economically possible.

I forgot to mention that I have that same problem with my SL as I have to keep the top up and the car all closed up to keep the dust from the interior.

That cover is ideal.

Thanks, the stands and the hoist come online quite often.
I have not used my hardtop since the first day I got the car.
Took it off and voila!

The only half cover I can find for a "Top Down" situation is a Covercraft made in Sydney at $189 only in Grey...........However the same cover is available from
Ecklers in the States for $69 + Freight. Even after Freight for one , it's cheaper from the States????????????

So how many takers do we have ?

Correction apparently Covercraft are here ...in the States and also Europe. Best bet is that the covers are made in the States, not here ?
I haven't worked out what material the USA supplied items are made from,
ie ., indoor or outdoor.

P.S. they also have the seat belt holders from the SLCs . Fit the SLs ok

Hi Michael, an extra Cover works out at $45 each instead of $70 as a one of.
More than 2 and the freight starts to climb. An extra Seat belt guide/holder is ok. They are a SLC item.

Let me know if you want either of these items, I'll be ordering tomorrow.
