They do work.. I have installed a GFB locally made one on our C 250 CGI. Fixed the slow throttle response and the low down Torque. Driving is now with a light touch. Just as good as the C 200 CGI which is factory set up for much better low down Torque. As all these later model European Turbo...

Our C 250 CGI is very twitchy in the wet using more than light/ medium throttle taking off.:cool: The Traction Control Light goes berserk. The cure I remember was from the 1950/55 Morris Oxfords in my Apprentice Days.... a bag of Sand in the Boot. Two 20 Kilos Bags of Gravel did the trick.

Most Kick down issues are a result of lack of Pedal travel ie the Pedal hits the floor. Just plain old wear and tear. With a Rod system it can be sorted by just pulling the Pedal up to bend it some what.
