The Denso add is right ....:) their Plugs perform better.
Now fitted to in our C Class 200 and C250 CGIs Turbos
I removed NGKs at 90.000 Ks and fitted IXUH22 Denso There unique design gives a stronger Spark with a better Burn ie the Flame Front across the combustion Chamber.
Cars feel smoother and with a sharper throttle response.
Seat of the Pants ..Yes .. but I know these two Cars well.
Denso are OEM to almost all Japanese Cars....... As big as NGK. Made in Japan

If we did a blind testing , I reckon it would be difficult to tell the difference

Can't argue with that. I will check to see if such a test has been conducted. Perhaps, as with replacing old plugs in the past there was a better performance ou:)tcome
Apart from the design difference the Denso Iridium Plus run a bigger Gap.
With modern Electronic Ignition Systems producing close to 60000 Volts the gap would not be a problem at high revs.

My limited research suggests that the answer is.....
How long is a piece of string,:) and who has a vested interest of a particular Brand
