300SE had four Lemforder tire-rod ends fitted today.

Old rod ends were the original parts from 1989 they have been on the car for 24 years.

$350 total cost for the tire-rod ends which I thought was very good value.

And what's the difference in the way it drives?
Noticeable? better? tighter?

300SE did have a terrible vibration in the steering yesterday.

As soon as I drove out of my Mechanics workshop back out on the main road I could instantly feel the improvement in the steering.

Front wheel alignment was done yesterday which cost $49.

What I should NOT have done was drive over one of those dreaded pot holes!

Drive over pot holes and worn tire-rod ends results in poor steering that is not the case anymore thank goodness.

Simple advice avoid pot holes not your cars best friend.

Drove the 300SE to Newcastle today from home and back steering so much smoother!
:)
