But what's with the fascination with the pictures at the service station????

Maybe it's too hard to take pics of the outside while driving:D

I figure it's a getting over it sort of thing - you've just put in $150 worth of super, realised you're going to be eating toast for a week, but then the car looks all nice and shiny under the apron lights, and you think "awwwww....."

Or the statistical approach, as chris p said - on a percentage basis, most of the time the car is stationary will be spent at petrol stations.

THAT'S a 6.9 allright !.... Passes everything except petrol bowsers. ! However, I would like to see it in the flesh........ NOTE! I have since seen it in the flesh, and now, it is a very desirable motor car.

That's mighty impressive and ready to hit the road for some exercise by the look of things.

Hi Michel, after I had put some petrol in the car, and had gone inside to settle the bill, I came outside and I was greeted with an usual morning light supplemented by the Service Station lights. I simply could not refuse to take these shots.

An added incentive is to take 'natural and everyday' photos - I know for us it's nothing unusual, (I mean, a Service Station is a Service Station in any other language, or by way of definition), but some of our overseas members may find the setting of additional interest. Regards Styria

Further and final progress report of this mission. BTW S- Class, we are indeed very proud of all that's gone into 'new Silver' - as distinct from 'old silver' down capital way ! :D

And I might add that the car performed perfectly for both that journey and a run to the airport this morning.

Thank you so much for all your hard work Styria and Parks: I am absolutely thrilled with the result!

Michelle and I have christened him "Wilhelm". :D

Regards,

Chris
