So where did the terms 'Grosser' and 'Pullman' come from anyway? I never truely liked the exterior shape, but the interiors were to die for and the hydraulics are an engineering marvel!
Grosser is german for grand and the pullman was named after the pullman train carriages which were very luxurious.
The maker of the train carriages was a prude so made the beds too small for amorous use
I don't know about you guys but i watched the famous soap opera FALCON CREST in the 80's and there was one hell of a GROSSER 600 belong to one of the stars EMMA CHANNING ( JANE WYMAN) the ex of RONALD REAGAN
