Hi BenzBoy, That is absolutely BRILLIANT. Now, now, which job can I apply this to ? Now, lemme see - 6.3s. Wonderful cars as abl567 would attest to - yet theysay that you need to remove the radiator to fit the various belts...hmm....

Now, Power Steering Belts ....I actually had a super duper Mercedes mechanic break part of the twin Pulley that's attached to the Air Suspension compressor, whichin turn needs to be adjusted to attain the correct fitting and adjustment of the Power Steering belts - wonder if the Volkswagen method would work ? Well....well... Regards Styria (I am thinking - and it hurts).

The Tasmanian way is to take your Volkswagen to the mechanic, have a cup of tea, wait 30 minutes while he changes it and then hand over $50 when it's done.

Brilliant - runs a very hard first with changing a timing chain on an M-B V8 with the starter motor.\

Now I would like him to set the correct belt tension with the split pulley with the engine running and then I would be very impressed.:D
