Before I plonk down my hard-earned $ for a 28 year old mag, can anyone tell me which car out of the RR SS II, MB 6.9, Daimler 2x6, Lincoln Cont, Nissan Pres won?

If anyone has the article and cares to scan it then thats 20 bucks more petrol to get around in my 6.9

I have read a number of comparison tests between the Jag and the Mercedes, (Forget the others) and most are swayed by the 6.9 Mercedes torque leaving it the winner. However the British "Car" magazine in their comparison had the Mercedes as the "best" until they drove in convoy and found the Jaguar leaving the Mercedes behind (pre-pollution model). The then called their comparison test "Velvet glove vs. the iron fist" or some similar name. I probably still have these magazines in my collection - I wonder if I can find it/them.
