They stopped doing proper tests years ago.... They should get back to basics with a few less laughs instead of (eg) playing soccer with cars!

Yes but it is only BBC show that has any rating worth writing about. Personally I don't like the show. But every attempt at spin offs in other countries just does not work. Australia failed twice . US rating are terrible latest is they will not do another season. So with out him show is dead.

I have not watched the show that often as, most times, they fail in their attempt to properly evaluate the merits or otherwise of a car. Then again, it truly had assumed a totally different mantle and virtually became a variety show. Jeremy, the guy suspended, is an integral part, possessing at times of corny humour, but he is entertainment personality and absolutely essential to the show. Regards. Styria

It was a variety show.
No motoring enthusiast, let alone journalist, ever took them seriously.
The car company PRs loathed them because the vehicles they lent them came back ready for the scrapheap.

It was entertaining, but it's time to say goodbye and good riddance.

Clarkson's suspension might make way for a new presenter or presenters of the show?

They have tried that Tim. It has not worked so I see the show finishing.

I though I said that . Well link I posted said he has been stood down pending investigation. But my point is he is the main star of the show. It is far from a car show but mildly entertaining . Tried watching spin offs Australian and US both just don't cut it. Prefer 5th Gear

Motec is Fifth Gear shown on free to air TV or just Pay TV?

Ch.634 Turbo Max on Foxtel only show repeats of Fifth Gear and the episodes are from 2009.

Discovery Turbo Max does feature a good collection of car shows whatever make and model car.
