Has anyone had any experience in restoring an air cleaner? Mine is well, looking a bit crappy, just wondering how easily they can be sanded down, primed, painted etc..? I'd imagine you would need special paint to withstand the heat under the bonnet

This is how a W116 should have left the factory Entire dash should have been timber, not just fake timber real timber, some classic style off white gauges, door trims timber, timber, timber timber! basically the interior should have looked like a Rolls Royce.
