WANTED: High mileage badges

Does anyone have any of the high mileage badges kicking around in their sock drawers they would like to sell?

For anyone not familiar with these they were badges given out for free by MB back in the 50's-70's, they have been stopped at some point here in Australia, US and Europe now have a new version

this is the old style, heavy, enameled badges:

Guy's I will keep you posted here, but I am in the process of trying to get the AMERIOCAN Mercedes program implemented here, basically the high mileage badges are given out by MBUSA to owners who can verify their mileage. I will possiably be looking at getting an e-mail sign up register to forward to Germany to try and get this program back up and running in Australia.

Did you know you can purchase a Birth certificate for your car I'll post the link when I can find it they are printed in Germany and it has your cars original factory specs etc.

Here is my 250 sporting a 100,000k's high mileage award.




as it just ticked onto 145,000k's today I have a while yet to go before the 200,000k badge

That's the link alright Des, and that's the very program I'm pushing for in the Asia Pacific region, it's slow gowing but I'm confident that I can make it happen, even if our dealers verify mileage and then process through the US, in that case you would have to pay a nominal postage and badge fee I guess.

A member on the OzBenz website mentioned that the never badges are painted, he has only had his a year or so and the paint is already falling off his badge.

Shame they didn't continue to make the badges like the old ones I posted above, I found this on the net, a shot of the newer style 250k's and 500k's badges.



Michel, did you manage to have a look for me what badges you have?
