Thats nice....good colour combo!
I am totally surprised, and even more impressed, at the condition that most of the 126s advertised for sale. Such nice interiors, sometimes almost new looking, and it is really difficult to ignore them. If someone wants fantastic value for money, you could do a lot worse than the W126. Even the V8, in 4.2 litre configuration, is quite a petrol miser - 10.5 to 11.0/100 on a trip,and for technology that dates back at least twelve years or more, that is most acceptable.
Since purchase almost twelve months ago, my 420SEL has not missed a beat. Mind you, I drove Gleaming Beauty the other day, and I really need to say that there are only two things (among others) that the two cars have in common - four wheels and the bonnet star radiator. 6.9 torque - you'd better believe it. Styria 420SEL has impressive fuel consumption for a V8.
Very detailed pics and video of the 300SEL for sale.
Silver with the blue MB-TEX 187,000kms 300SEL is an impressive car.
If I had not purchased the 300SE and was still in the market for a W126 I would have bought the 300SEL.
A PPI carried out on the 300SEL would be a good investment the car certainly does look and present very well.

1 day 19hrs remaining on the auction there are 21 bids price is $4,050 I would have thought the car would be selling for more.
Someone is going to buy a good car judging from the photos and the video the 300SEL does present really well.

It hasnt sold yet, but I imagine the reserve on it is a bit more than what its high bid is. Considering the car started life in Canberra, went to the Gold Coast and now lives in NSW. Also theres more demand for the 89 update series (Airbag/ Soft leather/ Memory drivers seat) as well.

Good to see the 300SEL has sold.
