Today's Fang around the wet roads in the country near Peats Ridge included a very nice 1978 Lincoln Continental - less than 30,000 miles on it and amazingly smooth and quiet - even if it did steer like I was driving a soggy breakfast cereal - the other was a 1954 Jaguar XK 140 with brand new motor; now that was a car of character. It required a bit of hard work to keep it in line in the wet but the thrill of full throttle acceleration and a nice exhaust snarl made it a car to covet... if only the piggy bank were just a bit fatter.
Actually, the Lincoln said; "Take me home" as well. Even the 8 track cartridge player worked like it was new. :D

Brian

Those Lincolns were great Cars in the States ... of course the Yanks built Roads to suit their Cars... Where as the French built Cars to suit their Roads.
