Hello

I have this very nice 200km high mileage badge for sale,

would look nice on the front of any classic Benz

enamel work is excellent, just a tiny bit of rust around the screw hole,

A quality badge from the "good old days" of Mercedes Benz

$55 and I'll post it to you

If your Swiss bank details are still the same, I shall transfer the funds in the course of the morning. Please confirm that you have not moved to Banco Romano as a result of the global melt-down.

Damn, not quick enough, I have a 500,000km one, but none of my cars have got there yet.

Two hours and fifty three minutes too late. I'm sorry G-M.
Look on the bright side, you can drive and drive and drive just to fulfill the manifest destiny of 500,000 ks. Enjoy!! :D

Yeah, I know, the 280E is currently on 360k, but as it has the coldest air is getting daily use right now.
The Crayford has only 255k but hopefully will be around a long time yet.
The SLC has almost 100,000 miles, which is an average of 3,000 a year, so it will outlive me.
The 190E has about 135k but I don't think it has 500k in it.
So, the W123 280E is favourite, had it five years now and can't kill it!
Maybe I should just wind the odo forward a bit and cheat? It has more likely been clocked back in the past anyway.

If you put your car on blocks and run it at 100kph for 5000 hours you will have earned the right to use your 500k badge. That's only 208.3 days. Piece of cake. :D

Always ready with a helpful hint eh?
Thanks.
