Headlights just died....

Evening guys, I’ve got a strange problem.
Agee days ago when the headlights were on, I signed right and heard an electrical “sizzle” and all the lights dimmed.

It happened again last night, so this morning I had a look. I pulled the bottom of the dash apart and everything is connected as it should, I tried the right blinker again and it killed the headlights......

No fuses have blown, no electrical “pop” just dead....
The side lights and hazards still work just no headlights.

Any ideas?

Which vehicle?
If a 116 I'd be thinking the multi function stalk has a short between indicator and main beam selection???

Thanks for the reply, your right it is a W116. I did have a slight “crunch” inside the indicator mechanism. I’ll pull it apart and have a look what I can find.
