It depends how lumpy that engine will be and how 'drony' the exhaust will sound.

Otherwise, you seem to have the best of everything!

It's a stock HK Monaro muffler copy. Wanted the retro look . Will fit muffled underneath as well. Cam is midrange cam should be fine if not pull and go one profile down. Don't want drone

I guess I have rather exacting standards. It was not till I found the Hallibrands that I decided to fit anything but standard rims to the car. Hallibrands being the wheel of legend at Bonneville and the brick yard. Same as getting a part number correct rare spares rear muffler. This car due to rarity is not being butchered. Interior is staying as per factory I want air but must be factory underdash GM unit. Original engine is to be kept should I will to refit. Will get all chrome redone at same time as paint.

Yes checked same floor aperture. As I said I am into making it look period correct same as my 6.9 . Over big wheel look .

Well my top end parts arrived from the US yesterday. Intake and exhaust valves plus springs and roller rockers and port lumps. I have also bought a Aussie Speed 4 barrel intake manifold to fit my MSD Atomic EFI to. It will be painted Chevy red the same as engine when built.

It's the only 71 Kommando in Australia . So its Chevy 6 is what makes it unique. So just fitting 250's big brother. Going to keep 250 and seal it. As for the wheels they are factory size14x6 I have HK Monaro rims in the same size as I have factory hubcaps. I will paint engine Chevy red and mark as a 250 going to try and keep it looking stock.

Only mod for interior will be upgrading dash speaker and adding iPod input. And under dash factory air when I can find one. It's going to be a nice weekend cruiser. But still going to finish 6.9 first.
