When looking at the Packard story we should also remember their role in developing the Liberty range of aircraft engines , some versions of which powered ww2 PT boats and also the manufacture under licence of the Rolls Royce Merlin engine during ww2. Regards Mark.

Someone decided to revive the name in the 90s.
What do you guys think?

Michel, I really like it. Such an unusual shape, but it does remind me a little of some current Bentley and Rolls Royce models. The highish aspect of the grille could be improved a little - otherwise, O.K. Regards Styria

Yes very much so a mid 30's Packard is a dream car for me . Even if I didn't drive it I can look at them all day.

Considering the '56 Caddy and the '56 Packard:
Wouldn't it be nice, if current manufacturers would revive the color schemes of that decade?

Very interesting video and stills in this thread, thanks.
