When looking at the Packard story we should also remember their role in developing the Liberty range of aircraft engines , some versions of which powered ww2 PT boats and also the manufacture under licence of the Rolls Royce Merlin engine during ww2. Regards Mark.

Michel, I really like it. Such an unusual shape, but it does remind me a little of some current Bentley and Rolls Royce models. The highish aspect of the grille could be improved a little - otherwise, O.K. Regards Styria

This article covers a 1935 Packard Super 8 Coupe. This was when Packard were at their best and if I could wave a magic wand and have a packard it would be one like this:

Collectors seem to like the 12 more, and the open cars but I think the senior inline eight in a closed car is the better choice.
