Big words, huge promises ? From what I have read, Cadillac has really challenged the Luxury Car segment with its offerings over the last two or so years. If the standards of reliability, and to a lesser extent driveability, are attained, it should hold up well judging from my limited experience with the Statesman we have just sold. GMH really tried hard, and successfully at that, with that 2000 model Statesman. Regards Styria

After reading up on the specifications of the Cadillac with its horsepower figures, as well as the eight speed Automatic Transmission, plus a host of other features, some of the German and Japanese giants may have to take a longer look behind their shoulder - as long as the quality of furnishings are up to standard.

Having a look at ther interior of the car on display, you do have to ask yourself if GMH, indeed, are up to the yardstick. It just looks somewhat plasticky and lacking in design details. Otherwise, quite a car. Regards Styria
