Lincoln Zephyrs were one of the earlier models Ford made after acquiring Lincoln. The motor is a stretched Ford Flathead V8 with an extra four cylinders incorporated into the mould and was a triumph for monoblock moulding of a V12 (as was the earlier triumph of monoblock moulding of the flathead V8 in 1931/32).
Prior to this all mass produced V motors were composites with each arm of the V bolted to a separate crankcase.
What the Ford engineers didn't do right was improve the crancase ventilation which was already a problem on the V8's with the end result that most of the V12 motors rotted out from the inside if used in normal commuter travel.
I remember a couple of these running around Wellington NZ in my youth in the 1960's with very smoky exhausts.
Unfortunately , as Brian says, the interior was really only a straight lift (Speedo and instruments excepted) from the Fords of the same era and bears a striking resemblance to the 1938 Deluxe sitting in my shed.
