I gave up sourcing parts from Gates in the USA since freight was rediculous, even for very lightweight package! I finally managed to find parts that will do the job from REPCO Hoppers Crossing who are not often renown for their cheap prices, but this time they did better than match the price...

So why was the pressure reg faulty? Poor seals, scoring, spring tension?

Well this is a surprise! This appears to be an AMG engine with some interesting things in the background.... The SOHC M117 has an output of 460PS or 338kW!!!

Here’s some ideas tried by some...

Some other M117 examples (very similar to the 6.9 & 6.3 layout) which are good, but NQR.

A mate recently translated it to English!!

Nice to see some older models being recognised! It’d be great if this was a regular section in the mag; just imagine a permanent MB feature car in a national publication!
