They do work.. I have installed a GFB locally made one on our C 250 CGI.
Fixed the slow throttle response and the low down Torque. Driving is now with a light touch. Just as good as the C 200 CGI which is factory set up for much better low down Torque. As all these later model European Turbo Cars have an electronic control for the Turbo Boost. The manual boost control Manufacturer had a concern that the ECU would eventually reset the Boost back to Std.
The Tuning Company I know has had one on their own C 250 for 8 months without any issues. The manual control is mounted down stream of the Factory electronic boost control.... so no faults flagged.
