I've never seen the Renault Torino before.
I just looked it up on Wikipedia and apparently it came from an Argentinian acquisition. Are any here in Australia?

I have not seen any here in Australia but I have in France. The design is quite clean and better in reality than in pictures. I guess one might call it a Renault -Rambler child.

it is quite a crisp design.
At least according to wikipedia it was Richard Teague and Pininfarina who did it. Teague had a number of striking designs like the 55 Packard, Jeep XJ, AMC AMX/Javelin. Perhaps the AMC Pacer does not fit into that list but its memorable for sure.

The front light treatment has some similarities to the AMC Matador.
