I love how these old SLC speedo's never went over 200K

Though i live in the other side of the world and have no reason to look at RHD cars since we here drive LHD cars but there was a car that was salvaged and in the list ( HIT BAD ) it was ML 63 2009 but it looks like a car who have it all , SAD that it is damaged .

The slc looks like a dead ringer for my car..would love to buy it for spares. Wonder what sort of water damage it suffered to become a write off and what sort of money it might go for?

I like to think that those bidding would be more interested in all the Falcons and Commodores, and that they would go cheap if not at all. Probably unrealistic though. Being there would be the only way to find out, bidders number in hand just in case.....

Water damaged Mercedes does sound expen$ive to repair?

Fresh water damage is essentially computers and maybe some mechanical componentry.

For what SLCs are going for nowadays, only an outsider would pay thousands...

USUALLY the fresh water damage is when there is floods and the car was subject to water effect the electrical circuits beyond repair and as michel said probably mechanical damage too , my advice is inspect the car before trying to bid since visual inspection can determain if this baby is useful or not.
