Interesting to see this 1989 300SEL for sale. This has to be the same 300SEL Gosford car museum have had for sale. Looking at the photos that is definitely the Gosford car museum. Reading from the ad the car does have log books I was told otherwise before Christmas. 94,750kms asking price...

Battery test carried out yesterday test came back fine. The charging system was tested as well and the test result was low. Existing alternator is the original Bosch unit same age as the car this year in fact! Quote was $200 to recon the alternator plus the voltage regulator will be inspected.

With Christmas fast approaching and it can be a crazy hectic time year perhaps this is good advice see if you agree or otherwise?
