Not the best of interiors, and it is sporting a Speedometer from the 450 range - as the guy says, he provides you with nothing and you take your chance. Unfortunately, another much neglected item. Regards Styria
the bidding did start at $1.00 so expect lots of bids.
However the highest is a 0 feedback bidder... God knows if he is genuine.
But, it's a reasonably straight car with a rare colour which might bring $5,000.
Not a bad start for someone prepared to spend a little over time..
The car has had a bit of a detail, judging by the brush marks on the carpets. However, with such badly torn velour upholstery, you have to ask yourself what on earth got the upholstery to the stage it is in - and then, what about the rest of the car once you start getting your nose into things. I don't know about the $20K., but then again how good would one want the car to be ? Regards Styria
What do you mean, Anthony ? Having been the highest bidder, how can the transaction not complete ? Could it be that the reserve has not been met ? Is that what you are referring to ? Regards Styria
I think what he means is whether the buyer actually fronts with the money, or goes to pick it up and decides it is worse than they thought. It happens, and the buyer then tries to renegotiate the price. eBay is just a shop window sometimes, and if a buyer pulls out, they do nothing about it.
That's exactly what I meant. It happened to me once with a screenprinting machine, luckily ours is a small industry and a word here and there applied sufficient pressure to make the reluctant buyer come through
