Couple of minor errors I noticed. - Thin door panels not just for south africa - 350s never came with the four speed auto, that had been discontinued by the time the W116 came about. - Chrome trim on the wheel arches is not a factory item. Overall a well done series.

Do you know why during the resto the owner didn't remove those hideous USA side marker lights and headlights? They really spoil an otherwise lovely car.

Thanks. Do you get any rubbing? I had 16"s on my SLC for a while, 255/50 and they would rub. But the wheels were 16x7.5 ET 23, so I think a bit higher than the pentas. Still favoring 215/60R15 tyres, but seeing mixed reviews for that Radar Dimax classic tyre. Bryce
