    C107's C107

    I don't know, but I am assuming a build up of dirt/dust.

    C107's C107

Yes, it was a partial blockage in the A/C drain line. On a humid day there was not enough flow so eventually the evaporator case would fill up with water and leak out the top!

    Happy 50th Birthday R107

That sounds interesting! Thanks. I always wanted to do something like that for my 250SE to take to car shows with a photo and a few stats. What sort of resolution would you need?

    Happy 50th Birthday R107

Looks good. I was supposed to be there with my car but couldn’t last minute. A shame as it would have been good to blow up the picture for the garage wall.

    Happy 50th Birthday R107

I was told the other night that the MBCNSW aims to drive 107 C and R107s over the harbour bridge in a long line in November. If they can rustle up that many, should be an impressive sight.

    MB CLA 200

Brian, was your loaner ‘AMG line’? I’ve been told that these cars have incredibly stiff suspension. Much more so than the real AMG cars.

    My 1965 250SE Cabriolet

I’ve been the owner of this car for about the last ten years. Basically for those not familiar with the model, the 220SE coupe came out in 1961, at the Geneva motor show where it was somewhat eclipsed by the Jaguar E-Type. A shame as it’s probably Mercedes most attractive post war design and...

    Car of the week

Not likely! But they are still nice cars. I like 6.9s, but I already have a 560SEL and there are other cars I would be more interested in if I was in the market right now.

    Car of the week

This is a tale of two 1979 6.9s, both Aussie delivery, both in nice shape. They are both up at the lloyds auction. The first is 6132 a 12/79 complianced model: https://www.lloydsonline.com.au/LotDetails.aspx?smode=0&aid=23105&lid=2857465&pgn=2&pgs=100 The second is 6032, also 12/79...

New ignition key for 450 sl

Do you have the data card? Mercedes may be able to cut one for you. They no longer sell ignition barrels for this model, but I think they can still cut keys if you have the key code. if you don't, they will charge you a highway robbery fee to access the data card.

    The Rover P5/P5B

I had a look in some of my Jag books. They are called GKN Kent wheels and they were available on the higher end Jags during the early XJS and Series II XJ. Here is an XJ12C that I photographed in the Jaguar heritage collection for example.
