    Removing hood pad 560SEC

Not sure what the paint is like on your car but if good it is worth putting on a new pad. The heat from the engine will eventually crack the paint above the heads. Even on my lowly 230E this had happened as the PO did not bother to attach the pad. Coupe pad is different to sedan!

    C107's C107

Thanks, that would be good. Tonight I ran the car for about 30-40 mins up in the air so I could see the drains. Eventually, after about 10 mins water started coming out of the passengers one only. Nothing out of the drivers one, or on the floor. Once I stopped the engine and let the...

    Styria's European Transport

Hi Sean, I don't think it has been this way for many years. it still is in the United States for pickup trucks though.

    Styria's European Transport

We have twins and my wife is part of a group called multiple births. There are plenty of people with triplets, multiple sets of twins etc and the Carnival is a pretty popular with that group, especially for people who want to buy new - the 7 year warranty is pretty compelling.

Personally I don’t know why minivans get a bad rap. Much better than an SUV for taking 6-7 people

    C107's C107

So latest update on the SLC. Helmet gave me some tips on the adjustment on the transmission, and turns out I had been adjusting it the wrong way. He also advised me that if the adjustment did nothing I may have a broken spring in the valve body. even on maximum adjustment no difference, so...

I was able to hit 199km/h in small volvo diesel on the Autobahns in Germany. It was still efficient even running flat out.

    Wheel cleaning

They look awesome. These are the wheels I want to find for my SEC when funds allow! I think 16 is the sweet spot for the 126 SEC.

Auto Brunch Event - St Ives

That DS has the very rare factory A/C system. You can tell by that upright console and the round vents. Very rare in Australia, most D's that had A/C were dealer fitted units. That D, being a Pallas model has the upgraded Velour upholstery. My car, being a DS21 (non pallas) as the...

    Scotty Kilmer and European Cars

To me he is the tabloid media of car journalism. There may be a grain of truth somewhere, but it is hidden under clickbait over sensationalised headlines and constant shouting.

Auto Brunch Event - St Ives

I assume that these are attributes of this particular car, vs the model in general? I never read any of the period reviews noting the clutch as being very heavy etc.

Head up display and polarised sunglasses

I’ve noticed it harder to read the screen of my phone in its holder when wearing sunglasses. Perhaps something similar.
