    Car of the week

That 6.9 that sold at shannons for 66k a while back is for sale again, on carsales for 32k. That price seems far more in line with that they actually sell for. It looks like a nice car. Given that owner would have spent money on the car, they have sure taken a bath on it...

I've never seen the Renault Torino before. I just looked it up on Wikipedia and apparently it came from an Argentinian acquisition. Are any here in Australia?

    The Citroen DS

Most people know about the Berline (Sedan) and Safari (Wagon), and even the Chapron convertible. But the small number of coupes that were built by Chapron are far rarer. Personally, I don't like the proportions of the Cabriolet, but the Coupe models are really interesting. There were only...

    Dora 2

Sounds like you've taken a big step forward with the HPFE system, doesn't sound like too much more work to get the car back on the road more permanently.

    The Rover P5/P5B

My Dad had one (Saloon, not Wagon) for a week, I think as a loan car or rental. It was still quite new. His comment was that it was nice and smooth, but had the turning radius of the QE2.

    The Rover P5/P5B

I remember this car from the Flynn auction. At that time I don't recall an engine being fitted but it was very cheap. Looks like the project has overwhelmed whoever purchaed it. I also recall it was missing the VIN plate so to build the car you would need a donor car.

    aftermarket parts experiences

The quality of aftermarket parts for Mercedes is so variable these days, I wanted to created a thread to learn from examples of what parts are good, and what parts are poor quality and should be avoided. It is also worth identifying the true OEM supplier for parts. So far, my experience...
