Quite a bit of progress on the 107 of the last couple of days: I just had the subframe mounts done, they were so bad there was metal grinding on metal. Never done in my ownership. I used the genuine ones even though they are expensive as I hear the Febi ones flatten after a couple of years...

Could be a good project. It was a shame we never got the big engine SWB 126 models. I would have a 560SE instead of an SEL if they had made that model in RHD and sold it here.

Ignition was a bigger issue then than it is now. Jaguar struggled with ignition on their high revving v12 engine. A v12 at 6500rpm is a lot of ignition pules per second!

There was a 450SE with similar wheels at our MBCNSW night drive last night. Looked good!
