On the Aussie one, A is vacuum advance, which means there is NO advance at idle, and peak advance at moderate throttle openings (i.e. cruising on the motorway)
B...
Does anyone have a diagram of the vacuum lines for the M117 450 K Jet for the rest of the world models? I've got the vacuum diagrams for both the AU and US models complete with EGR and lots of retard built in. For reference mine is a 1977 model.
Since the EGR is long since disconnected on my...
Its been a while since I have seen such a nice one.
My sister had a 1984 240GLE, in a green colour that was a bit like the thistle green that Mercedes offered at the time. I had a 1985 230E mercedes at the time. The Volvo had a torquier engine and was a little faster (being lighter) but...
Matt did post a very good buyers guide on this model when he was more active on the forum:

I have to say that while I admire the engineering in the W140, I it is a model that I overall don't particularly care for. I personally think it...
This E220 Coupe is unsual for an auction car in that it has a full service history.

the E220 is very economical, but I found the sedan version my dad had at one point rather...
This low mileage 560SEC looks nice. Terrible ad though, no mention of sevice history or anything that would prove the low miles.
there are some signs like the needles on the instrument cluster still being orange and the interior that would make you think it might be true, but I would not pay...
Meant to post these after the RR show last October.
This is a P5 Coupe that is under restoration. The owner has had it repainted in the two tone scheme and had the blue leather interior re-done. At the time of photos it was not quite back together with some trim missing, but I saw the car...

This 380SEC doesn't look bad. the 380SEC is a lot of car for the money normally. This one seems to have a ride height issue at the back and a pet peeve of mine, hacked up door...

No.
There are a few variants. The AU one has 178KW, the normal one has 200KW, and the high compression one 220KW (300hp).
I'll post a bit more about the differences later, but the engine in Dora2 is the high output engine.
