    C107's 300TE

Some wagons/estates can be very odd, but yes, these and other Benz, were designed as a wagon/estate, not a sedan turned into a wagon, which of course some looked truly odd.

    1923 Buick

Nice little project for someone. The popular thing today, is to leave the outside exactly the way it was found, and only restore mechanicals. I could live with that, it looks great.

    Tyres

Interesting read Brian. Like Michel, I have heard of Nanking and used them on quite a few cars, but of course none of them were destined for anything extreme, but I was very happy with what they did on classic cars in the wet and dry. Interesting that the worst tyre was the quietest. How does...

    Tyres

For most (non car) people, tyres are a begrudged purchase. They can’t see them or enjoy them while driving, but they have spent a lot of money on them. But are 4 of the most important safety items on a vehicle. Funny how some people think.

    Restrictive Air Filter Assemblies

One would think there would be method to the madness so to speak?

    Restrictive Air Filter Assemblies

Mark, As this all sounds very counterintuitive on the part of MB for air air intake. Is there any documents, testing or data showing why they would have designed it this way, like air swirl or ram effect due to what “appears” to be a restrictive area?

    Patricks Trucks

You’re welcome Sean. Yes, I forgot to add all of the modern safety systems (ABS, EBD, ESC, AEBS, BA) that are also fitted to the air brake system. Yes, Can get pretty busy under there 🤣 Basic small truck with air brakes. This is just one rear axle of a Volvo, and this is the air and...
