6.9 Timing Chain Check

Engine stone cold. Checked right side chain. Snug, would not lift off sprocket. Left side, with some slight effort, lifted up maybe 1/8* max. In that it's loosened only on one side is it possible chain is not stretched and the tensioner or sprocket on that side just need replacement?

You have to line up the timing marks on the cams & compare the deg on the balancer to check for stretch. I think the max was about 10deg. Other than that check the guides for wear & any rattling on cold starts
