    Wanted for W116

Funny how things aren't quite as you remember them. Uncovered the donor merc today and took a picture of the grille. Picture says it all. Let me know if I can help. Also the 2 spare steering wheels I have both suffer from slippage on the rim. They are however in decent condition otherwise...

    116 Online Service Manual

Found this online w116 service manual some years back. Whilst it spoils from the U.S. most of the info is relevant to Australia. It's still operating. Hope it can be of use to others as it has been to me. http://handbook.w116.org/matrix6.htm

Rear windscreen glass removal - Any tips?

Hi guys. Time time to fix those 3 rust spots under my chrome trim on the back window. I am having the rear windscreen glass popped next week by a professional windscreen guy. I'm giving him the go ahead to cut the rubber in order to (hopefully) get the glass out in 1 piece. Its original rubber...

    Ignition switch removal

I am looking at the degree of difficulty in removing an ignition switch from the dashboard. It's the ignition switch that I want. Do I have to remove much (or all) of the dash to get it out, or is the wood panel removable separately? Thanks in advance.

    Radiator treatment question.

Hi all. I took out the radiator from my 108 ( I know this is mainly a 116 forum but I am working on a 108 project car and some things can't be that different surely). Anyhow I had it professionally cleaned and checked, and refitted it, also fitting a new cap and new hoses. My question...
