Noticed the 420SEL for sale.
Speaking the Son of the owner about the car yesterday.
Son is selling the car for his Dad.
286,000kms might be a high kms for $12,500?

Yeah its high IMO, must have been one of the very last as the 140 replaced the plastic fantastic in April 91.
It's a slightly later model than my 420SEL. Chassis Number 1260352@550337 versus mine, 463639. The one advertised has the more desirable burl walnut trim, plus presumably a sliding sunroof, and more than likely cruise control - and a mileage reading which is quite substantial.
Mine has the Zebrano timber finish, the earlier (124) style Air Con. system which is working extremely efficiently, no sunroof nor cruise control, but an electrically adjustable rear seat and a mileage figure probably somewhere near the one hundred K. (kilometers) mark - and a somewhat cheaper price tag - incidentally, it's been trouble free. Regards Styria
