Hi it was only the other day it dawned on me while looking at Dyno chart that my 6.9 hit 5900 RPM on Dyno run. I though max revs with limiter was 5400 or 5500 RPM . I Called Kwinana to ask and they said 5900 was were rev limiter cut in that's why graph ends there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luR2a-s5Gu8&feature=youtu.be

It would appear that the engine is capable for speeds in excess of 6K. Revs. Obviously, those are the revolutions you're looking at in order to achieve 162 miles per hour......remember the story of Peter Bennett of Newcastle who claimed to have been clocked at that speed.

Personally, I would never be game, nor cruel enough, to subject the engine to that sort of stress, considering that at 6K. Revs, the speed would be 240 kilometers an hour. Regards Styria

Hi Styria I always thought they had a 5500 Rev limiter . It would appear not in the case of my car though they told me it stopped at 5900 RPM from rev limiter. So that must be were the limiter is on Euro 6.9 at least earlier models like #1873 which is 77 build. I will check again with tomorrow mornings dyno run. That would also be the case with this picture.
