I have said it before, many times. Never cease to be amazed how badly 6.9s can be left to deteriorate. What is it that makes owners let them go so badly ?Regards Styria

N.B. I have reason to believe that some of the Rover offerings were also very poorly presented and in diabolical condition.

Well, the auction was enjoyable.
Well organised with the Lions having a Sausage Sizzle and no buyers’ premium.
However, as far as the Mercedes cars on auction (4) there was a Benz collector from NSW (he allegedly owns about 300 cars) who was bidding stupidly.
One went for $8800, the rougher blue one for $4000 and the Gold one for 11,400.
He also bought a 300TE diesel.
